Once upon a time in 1999 a teenage Seven Davis Jr set up his first recording studio in the garage of his Northern California home. Using 2 keyboards, a four-track cassette tape recorder, and one microphone Seven innocently created this collection of underground soul.
During these recordings Seven also entered battles with depression, addiction and suicide. All which he would later overcome. The last song recorded during this era was "Thanks", which later released in 2012. After, Seven continued on and debuted/returned to music freshly focused from years of recovery and working behind the scenes.
For loving fans, take a journey to a time before Sev was introduced to the many other alternative genres he is now a member of. Visit a raw soul downtempo space in time before Sev made favorite songs like "One", "P.A.R.T.Y", "Sunday Morning" and more.
